Nantucket Homes No 5

I LOVE THIS ONE!
Union Jack is another Nantucket rental I want to share with you.  Built in 1806 by house carpenter Lot Hinckley, this 19th century home is full of history and Nantucket charm.  History of owners include merchants, mariners and ship carpenters.  In 2012 Darcy Creech purchased this home and named it Union Jack for several reasons…it's located on Union St, her father and business partner's name is Jack and the U.S. Union Jack (the flag flown on the U.S. Coast Guard vessels).

The owner says…
"May God bless this house and every person who walks through its doors."

Sleeping 6-8, this home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and 6 working fireplaces.  So many amenities and amazing things about this house that if you're seriously interested in checking it out then go to the website HERE.

This home is pristine and so well furnished.  I love the historic pine floors, federal references and color scheme.  I so wish I could visit Nantucket and stay here.  There is nothing about this house I don't like and I usually don't say that about homes.  Being the imperfect perfectionist I can always find something of error but not this one!

  4. Just beautiful! Love the classic decor and styling. The dark wingback chairs with the white piping are fabulous, as are the bed linens (wonder where they are from…).
