Hamptons Houses No 40

Amagansett, NY
For Rent
Refer to listing to contact owner

I am in beach house mode.  It happens every spring when I want to turn my whole house white and dream of looking outside to the sand and hearing the sound of the waves.  For today I'll settle for showing you a rent house in Amagansett.  Check out the great job the owner did in furnishing this place.  The deck alone is enough to make me want to rent this beautiful house.  I would love to stay in the yellow room and I can just imagine cooking a delicious dinner and eating around the round table with those leather back chairs.
Stunning!

Nantucket Houses No 7

Built in 1747, this gorgeous Nantucket home is not only for sale but also a vacation rental.  I love the crisp white exterior, immaculate details and quaint window boxes full of flowers.  You are greeted with a smile before you even step foot inside.  Love when a home of such age is restored with care and much attention to detail.  Not sacrificing the character and history of the home, the restoration still maintains the unique qualities of its original design.

You can see the rental listing HERE or the buying listing HERE
Isn't it great how Nantucket is simple in design but so tasteful and respectful of its history and location.  I just can't get enough of these gorgeous homes!

Nantucket Homes No 5

I LOVE THIS ONE!
Union Jack is another Nantucket rental I want to share with you.  Built in 1806 by house carpenter Lot Hinckley, this 19th century home is full of history and Nantucket charm.  History of owners include merchants, mariners and ship carpenters.  In 2012 Darcy Creech purchased this home and named it Union Jack for several reasons…it's located on Union St, her father and business partner's name is Jack and the U.S. Union Jack (the flag flown on the U.S. Coast Guard vessels).

The owner says…
"May God bless this house and every person who walks through its doors."

Sleeping 6-8, this home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and 6 working fireplaces.  So many amenities and amazing things about this house that if you're seriously interested in checking it out then go to the website HERE.

This home is pristine and so well furnished.  I love the historic pine floors, federal references and color scheme.  I so wish I could visit Nantucket and stay here.  There is nothing about this house I don't like and I usually don't say that about homes.  Being the imperfect perfectionist I can always find something of error but not this one!

Disclaimer:  I love Interior Design and Architecture and have not received any compensation in return for my post.  It's my desire to share good design with you and I look for it in the most interesting ways in order to bring you something new to the eyes.

Hamptons Houses No 35

Amagansett, NY
$205,00 Rented
5 Bedrooms 6 Baths

So this is a first on the Hamptons Houses I've been showing you.  This is a rental property so if you want to dream a little closer to reality you could rent one of these gorgeous Hamptons Houses.  This home is full of spectacular details including a heated pool and a fit for entertaining wisteria-covered pergola.  Perfect for a family, this rental property boasts 4 bedrooms upstairs and a master suite downstairs.  Also included are a media room, play area and 6 bathrooms along with plenty of room for everyone to find a reading spot in any of the two major sitting areas.

I particularly love the Victoria Hagan look about this home.  Clean and simple furnishings and colors with nice architectural details.  I think this is a perfect example of less is more.
Plus, what's not to love about that backyard!
