B. Braithwaite Children's Store

B. Braithwaite originated when Interior Designer Nancy Braithwaite saw a children's boutique in Paris and convinced her daughter Chaffee to open a store with her in their hometown of Atlanta.  Early on I had seen their store in a magazine and still have a cut-out of the article.  I love the clean lines and sophisticated style of the store and concept.  It's a true inspiration for children's rooms just by the images alone.
Amazing larger than life topiary animals and clean crisp white and a soft muted gray storefront entrance.  The signage and logo is perfection.

The circular wrap desk and chandelier compliment each other and the soft tones throughout are such a welcome to a little one both calming and elegant and definitely not too traditional.

Merchandising is amazing.  My son, Grayson has some of those little animal blankets.  I love the contrast on the chair cording and the train wooden letters are adorable.  Grayson has something similar in his room.

Hands down the best idea of the day is the crisp white teddy bears as artwork.  Genius!

Can't stop staring at that chandelier - it's perfect for a nursery or even a breakfast nook.  The natural baskets and white scalloped inserts are so sweet.

This makes me want to live in Atlanta - just so I can shop here for Grayson.  Grayson also had some of those pacifier clips shown in this picture and I could have bought more of them they were a staple for us.

Beautiful display of books and toys.

Can't get more classic than pink, white and blue.

Lots of bumpers and baby essentials.

Scalloped window treatment idea is perfect for a nursery.  These cribs are so simple and I love the gray one.  What's even more unique is the animal shaped hardware on the chest in the back.

Giant bear, stuffed elephant wall art, branches with leaves - boys would love this!

Simple lines for the furniture, miniature wicker rocker and the open boxes with white animals for artwork - what a wonderful space with clever ideas.

So, if you're in Atlanta, stop on in B. Braithwaite and check it out.
