We have just moved and I am starting to search for furniture. I am looking quite frequently at the Dallas/Fort Worth Craigslist because I want a great mix of old and new. I love how you can search for antique dealer's furniture and find some amazing pieces. It just takes some time and patience. Thought you might enjoy what I'm seeing right now that I think is really great…

Thanks Teresa for reading and commenting! Also, I want to get with you on being a guest blogger. I'll shoot you an email.
ReplyDeleteI have the same Edwardian secretary! I live in Southern California and I need a decorator with your exact taste!! I love all of your Pinterest boards! How does one go about finding a decorator like you. I inherited my parents lovely home which they designed and my dad built. As my friend says, "It is dripping in bones," but needs to be updated. My mom was a decorator and she would have loved you. Now that I don't have her, I need to hire someone and quite frankly, I don't trust anyone. Do you know of anyone the LA or Santa Barbara area you could recommend.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill! Thanks so much for reading and for your kind comments! A few people I would highly recommend in the LA area are Timothy Corrigan and Elizabeth Dinkel. Love both of their work. You could also do a search on Houzz or the local ASID chapter website for designers if you want to research further. Hope this helps you!
DeleteJill I just thought of another source that's in Encinitas called Rustic Rooster. It's a shop and she also does Interior Design. I love her work and furniture.
